Diesel secret energy is a diesel fuel additive designed to work with vegetable oils that are liquid at room temperature. Typical oils used are soy, canola and peanut. It is not to be used with hydrogenated oils such as shortening that solidify at room temperature. Biodiesel cleans the engine (a solvent) and tends to clog fuel filters at first for cars that have run on petol diesel for years. It is also corrosive, which means seals and gaskets may be at risk of leaking unless a diesel fuel additive is used to increase lubricity or the vehicle is a new diesel with seals and gaskets designed for biodiesel.
