Hydrogen Powered Cars

How Long Until They Are Affordable For Everyone?  hydrogen cars

It's a great question isn't it?  Hydrogen powered cars are definitely a necessity right now with the increased prices of oil causing a domino effect on our society.  The only problem is, the ones that are available at the moment are too expensive for most consumers and quite frankly, they are still in the testing phases.  Mass produced hydrogen powered cars have a long way to go.  Another problem is lack of infrascructure - where are the hydrogen gas stations in your town?  Don't worry, everyone feels this way, which is why even the major automobile companies are taking their time introducing this new innovation to the world.

What Companies Will Be Introducing Hydrogen Powered Cars Soon?

Since most of the research for hydrogen powered cars is paid with both government and private funding, many companies have already started building these fuel cell vehicles.  In fact, some of these vehicles have already been placed in consumers hands as early as 2006.  However, like we said earlier, because of the cost to build these vehicles at present time, only those financially capable of spending the big bucks can purchase them.

The Mazda RX-8s introduced by Japan in 2006 were the first ones people like us could purchase.  In the meantime, companies like BMW and Honda are planning their release dates sometime during the 2008 year.  Ford, General Motors, Hyundai, Nissan, Toyota, Volkswagen, and several others are still gearing up towards releasing their hydrogen powered car versions around 2009-2010.

How Much Will You Have To Spend To Purchase A Hydrogen Powered Car?   hydrogen powered cars

To be honest, this question is still up in there.  Companies are finding it quite difficult to put even an estimated guess on this question simply because the issues that continue to arise when trying to build these hydrogen powered cars cost more money.  There are even some scientific people out there that are wondering if something of this nature will ever truly become affordable for the public.

Kind of puts a damper on all the excitement, doesn't it?  We were a little bummed ourselves, but in the meantime, there are alternative methods you can use to save money on gas.  We like to help those who want it, which is why we spend the time writing articles like this and finding alternatives for you to utilize.

How Do You Save Money on Gas and Get the Best MPG Now?

There are smaller versions available right now that can save you money by creating hydrogen powered car.  Keep in mind this isn't powered by 100% water, but simply a mixture using gas and hydrogen from water to create better mileage for your vehicle.  Look at it like going to the pharmacy and purchasing the generic drugs instead of getting the expensive brands.  They accomplish the same goal at a fraction of the cost.

This is how a hydrogen generator system works and more importantly it's available to all of us right now.  It only takes a little will power on your part to set aside a little money from your tax return or maybe your economic government checks and buy this system for your vehicle.  Its a much better method of saving money on gas than waiting for automobile companies to come up with an affordable vehicle.  In the end, the longer you wait, the more money you continue to spend on gas.
